goody two shoes

the ever amazingly talented rick mobbs has offered up yet another piece of his artwork that jumped right off the page and bit me….

supernatural bridge by rick mobbs

eve stood before the serpent
in her pointed, red, pierre dumas
crossed her arms,
shot a “huh uh” look,,
at him and said,,

“you’re gonna have to up the anti,, dude-
that’s all that i can say
cuz that goody two shoes angel,
that stays just beyond them pearly gates,
has offered me a pair of prada’s
for my soul….”

guess you have to ask yourself whether your soul is worth a pair of prada or something more

a very simple take, goes well with the artwork

Ha! I love the sassiness! I had such a clear image of this, it put a grin on my face.

You really take the painting somewhere I wouldn’t have thought of. This is a fun read.

I thought it was the devil who wears prada? A very entertaining response to the prompt – fits the expression on her face perfectly!

Seems to me when you want it all; you often end up with nill. But, when you want nothing; you always end up with nil. Great verse, Paisley! Thanks for creating!

Huh. I would have never headed in that direction for the prompt, but I like the humor in this piece. Nicely done.

Hmmm. Do another and try again. I still haven’t, due to this and that, and what not. I’ll procrastinate a bit longer then dive in to it head first. Your card is right, here, at Just Paisley.

I keep scr*wing up, putting comments where they don’t belong. Darn. I hereby order my previous comment to move over to the postal poetry post. Now!

That didn’t seem to work. Oh well.
