holes
May 30th, 2008 by whypaisley
wanderlust and romance, passion gone
astray, lingering just too long
sad forgotten yesterday…
when you no longer feel
the burning, the huge
gaping unfilled
holes,, become
shallow
graves..

I love the way this narrows down to the singualr and lonely graves! Gives me shivers!
A vivid description of numbness, the dead feeling after passion has faded.
When all that remains is the husk of passion, it can be hard. Very hard.
